Manchester City Signs Rayan Cherki, Rayan Aït-Nouri, and Tijjani Reijnders in Summer Transfers

Manchester City has reached an agreement to sign Rayan Cherki from Olympique Lyon in a deal worth €35 million, including add-ons. The French midfielder is set to sign a five-year contract and undergo medical tests today, with official documents being prepared. City is pushing to finalize everything quickly to have Cherki available for the upcoming Club World Cup.

The 20-year-old is known for his technical ability and creativity in the attacking third. His addition adds depth to Guardiola’s squad as they look to maintain dominance in both domestic and international competitions. Once his medical is complete and paperwork signed, Cherki will officially become a Manchester City player.

Meanwhile, Manchester City has also secured the signing of Algerian left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers. The transfer, valued at €37 million plus performance-based add-ons, has been finalized. Aït-Nouri has agreed to a five-year contract and has already passed his medical tests.
Pep Guardiola sees Aït-Nouri as a crucial part of his evolving squad. The 23-year-old defender brings pace, agility, and consistent performances on the left flank. His versatility will give Guardiola tactical flexibility heading into the new season.

In a busy window for the club, Manchester City has also completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. Like Aït-Nouri, Reijnders has finalized his contract and completed all medical procedures. Official announcements for both players are expected soon.
With Cherki close to completion and two other deals already signed, Manchester City is focused on injecting new energy into the team. These signings signal Guardiola’s plans to refresh his squad with young, promising talent ready to take on a challenging season ahead.
