Tanzanian Socialite Aisha Feruzy Leaks HIV Test Results After Online Clash

Tanzanian socialite Aisha Feruzy has sparked intense debate on social media after publicly leaking her HIV test results. The move came shortly after her appearance on Oga Obinna’s channel in Kenya and a heated fallout with controversial influencer Madollar Mapesa.

What led Aisha Feruzy to reveal her HIV status?

The feud began when Madollar accused Feruzy of stealing money from him and later demanded that men get tested after interacting with her. In leaked chats, he claimed they met three months ago before her interview with Obinna, insisting he had given her money and questioning her claims of high financial standards.

Feruzy, however, denied the allegations and confronted the influencer in her messages. “Now, honestly, why are they tarnishing my name, Madollar Mapesa? Is that really fair? Yes, we met, but why would you force me to take a test when there’s protection, yet you yourself refused and instead gave me USD 500 for my time, saying I should be taken back to where I came from. As for your bag, I never saw it. Your manager is the one who had it in that Range Rover, while you got into your Benz as we were communicating, remember,” she wrote.

What did the leaked HIV test reveal?

In response to the allegations, Feruzy shared her HIV status through an Instagram Story, posting results from a rapid test kit. The test indicated she was negative. However, the document also carried a disclaimer: “Please note that the rapid HIV test should only be used as an emergency procedure and NOT for routine diagnostic purposes. This screening test is a preliminary test result only and is not adequate for a definitive diagnosis. False positives and false negatives may occur.”

Feruzy maintained that as a trained medic, she would never make light of health matters. She insisted that her reputation had been unfairly attacked, stressing that she shared the results only to protect herself from further public humiliation.

Her decision has left social media divided, with supporters praising her transparency while others question the appropriateness of posting sensitive medical information online. Regardless, the incident has put her at the center of online discussions across Kenya and Tanzania.
