Kenyan comedian Mulamwah stirred conversation online after leaking WhatsApp chats with his new “bestie,” Emiliana, just before boarding a plane to China. The father of three was traveling alongside fellow content creators Terence Creative and MC Jessy for a cultural exchange program where influencers will showcase Chinese culture through their platforms.

In the screenshot, Mulamwah had saved Emiliana’s contact with a heart-eyed emoji, “Emiliana😍.” She had replied to one of his playful WhatsApp statuses where he joked about sleeping next to his packed travel essentials. “Leave me alone right now. Siguziki,” Mulamwah teased in response to her message. Emiliana then replied, “Aaai, we are sorry,” to which he captioned the post: “Bye bye rafiki I will be back.”

Is Emiliana Really Just a ‘Bestie’?

Mulamwah introduced Emiliana nearly three months after parting ways with his ex and baby mama, Ruth K. While some fans believe their connection is just content creation, others suspect more, since the comedian has a history of unveiling relationships under the “bestie” label. When he first introduced Ruth, she was presented as an artist under his company, but their bond later turned romantic and public.

Emiliana, however, has addressed the speculation directly. She clarified that she is currently single, even as Mulamwah’s leaked chat raised fresh questions about the nature of their friendship.
