Tanzanian Star Marioo Warns Celebrities against Interfering in His Relationship

Tanzanian singer Marioo has sent a stern message to individuals, including public figures, who allegedly tried to interfere with his relationship with Paula Kajala during her pregnancy. Speaking in a recent interview, the Dada hitmaker opened up about the challenges he faced as people attempted to create tension in his relationship, revealing that the experience taught him who truly had his back.

What Did Marioo Say About Those Who Tried to Interfere?

Marioo recounted how several people tried to get close to Paula in ways he found disrespectful. He said their actions became more intense when Paula was pregnant, a period he described as sensitive and revealing.

“When my girlfriend was pregnant, many people, even public figures, tried to interfere. Some were trying to get close to her in ways that weren’t right,” Marioo said. “But I thank her for standing strong. She remained loyal and never gave in.”

He went on to praise Paula for her strength and loyalty, saying her composure helped keep their relationship steady despite outside pressure. According to Marioo, the experience made their bond stronger and gave him a more mature perspective on love.

“This time, I won’t stay quiet,” he warned. “If anyone tries to flirt with or sabotage my relationship again, I will mention their names publicly.”

How Has the Couple’s Relationship Evolved?

Paula Kajala, the daughter of Tanzanian actress Frida Kajala, has long been in the public eye. Her relationship with Marioo began in May 2023, following her widely publicized breakup with Bongo Flava star Rayvanny in 2022. Paula and Rayvanny’s romance had stirred controversy, especially since Rayvanny’s former boss, Harmonize, was once in a relationship with Paula’s mother and was accused of pursuing Paula as well.

After parting ways with Rayvanny, Paula and Marioo gradually built a more grounded relationship away from public drama. Their love story reached a new milestone in May 2024, when they welcomed their first child together.

As of October 2025, the couple appears deeply committed to each other, with Marioo emphasizing his dedication to protecting his family from external distractions.
