Students will begin with oral examinations in French, German, Arabic, and Kenyan Sign Language before moving on to practical papers scheduled from Wednesday to Friday, October 31. According to KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere, a total of 996,078 students will be sitting for this year’s KCSE exams.

Njengere also revealed that 1,298,089 learners are expected to take part in the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) next week, while 1,130,669 students will sit for the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA).

To support the increased number of candidates, KNEC has expanded the number of storage containers for exam materials from 617 last year to 642 this year. This measure is aimed at improving accessibility and ensuring the timely distribution of examination papers across all regions.
