Khaligraph Jones Unveils Powerful Murals of Raila Odinga in His Mansion

Khaligraph Jones has paid an emotional and powerful tribute to the late Raila Amolo Odinga, unveiling massive murals inside his mansion to honour the former Prime Minister’s legacy. The award-winning rapper shared clips of the stunning artwork on his Instagram stories on Wednesday, October 23, 2025, giving fans a glimpse into the deeply personal way he chose to remember the man he called his hero.
The murals, which feature Raila in some of his most iconic moments as a reformist and statesman, stand as a visual reminder of the influence the late leader had on millions of Kenyans, including Khaligraph himself.

Why did Khaligraph Jones honour Raila this way?
When news of Raila’s death broke, Khaligraph posted a heartfelt message expressing his devastation and disbelief. “Hii imenimaliza, since yesterday I’ve still been trying to process this. Baba will forever be my hero. Rest, Baba, Rest,” he wrote.
A few days later, as Raila’s body was laid to rest in Bondo on Sunday, October 19, Khaligraph shared another emotional message explaining his silence since the tragedy. “There are some of us who, since this thing happened (Raila’s death) we have not had any strength. Today, being the final day that we are paying our last respects to Mzee, I just want to say Rest baba, it is well,” he said.
The video, seemingly filmed at his residence, showed a portrait of Raila prominently displayed in the background, an artistic and heartfelt reflection of the rapper’s admiration.
