Chebet Ronoh Says True Self-Love Doesn’t Require Cosmetic Procedures

Content creator and dancer Chebet Ronoh has spoken candidly about cosmetic procedures, arguing that altering one’s body for aesthetics does not reflect genuine self-love. In an Instagram video shared on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Chebet stated, “No one is convincing me that they love themselves if they do a cosmetic procedure. More so if you are a very healthy person who could have just gone to the gym or been on a calorie deficit. For one year only, and you are good to go.”
She emphasized the risks and long-term complications of cosmetic surgery, noting that such procedures can create a cycle of dissatisfaction. “Nah, fam, mind you, there are complications, and it is a rabbit hole because it could give you body dysmorphia. You are going to consistently want to alter things, change something; it is not going to be perfect to your eyes. Or eventually. What happens when you want to change your mind?”
Why Chebet Advocates for Natural Choices
Chebet shared that she values natural methods for maintaining her body and health, avoiding chemical or physical interventions outside the body’s natural processes. She explained that her body reflects her life choices and overall wellness, not temporary aesthetic trends. “Call me traditional, call me backwards. But I can never go under the knife. I can never do such a thing. And if you are planning it or have already done so, don’t get offended. Remember this is my page, this is my body, and this is my life. Remember,” she said.
She also addressed brands promoting procedures like Ozempic and BBLs, clarifying that she will not participate in body-altering promotions for social media or marketing purposes. Chebet’s stance reflects her commitment to authentic self-expression and personal integrity.

Through her advocacy, Chebet encourages natural health, fitness, and self-acceptance. She emphasizes that loving oneself does not require surgery or artificial enhancements. Her message resonates with followers who prioritize holistic wellness over fleeting beauty trends, reinforcing the idea that confidence and self-love come from embracing your natural body and making choices aligned with your values.
Chebet Ronoh’s perspective challenges popular beauty norms and reminds her audience that genuine self-love begins with respecting and caring for one’s body naturally.
