Vindee Claims Arrest After Hosting Gloria Ntazola Brother in Juja Home

Prankster and digital creator Vindee says he was arrested after hosting Gloria Ntazola’s brother at his house in Juja, a development that has added another layer to a family saga already dominating social media. In a video shared on Instagram on Monday, December 8, 2025, he explained that police apprehended him while he was out shooting content with friends. He claimed the arrest was connected to his decision to shelter Ntazola’s brother, who has been at the centre of an ongoing and very public family fallout.

Vindee insisted that his act of support was misunderstood by many people following the story. He said he intervened only because the young man had repeatedly been seen in distressing circumstances, and he felt obligated to help where he could. “Eeh so wacha niende straight to the point… Nimeshikwa nilikuwa na friends wangu walikuwa wameenda kunishoot,” he said in his video. He also shared that he had been informed he could either be released or officially processed within a day depending on how the situation unfolds.

Why Did Vindee’s Help Turn Into an Arrest Situation?

According to Vindee, the tensions within the family contributed to the ordeal. He claimed that, “Reason imefanya nishikwe ni juu ya kukuwa good Samaritan kusaidia huyo matoo brother ya Ntazola… na ni kama mabrothers wake na familia wanafurahia akiwa kwa streets.” He stated that his goal was to help the man find some stability and that he had fulfilled that responsibility. By the time police moved in, the man he had hosted was no longer living with him.

“Sahii hata kwa nyumba hayuko… ata yeye angeshikwa. Aliniambia anaenda kwa mabeshte zake,” he said, making it clear that he was neither hiding him nor preventing authorities or relatives from accessing him.

How Has the Ongoing Family Fallout Escalated the Situation?

The arrest claim follows several days of conflict between Ntazola and her brother, who had publicly accused the family of neglect. Vindee became a central figure in this narrative as he appeared in multiple videos where the brother shared his experiences and frustrations.

Ntazola later refuted the accusations and stated that she had invested heavily in her brother’s wellbeing, including funding rehabilitation, housing support and assistance for his child. She said the conflict escalated due to continued defiance, manipulation and alleged mistreatment of their mother.

In a recent twist, the brother issued a public apology acknowledging his past mistakes. He expressed willingness to take responsibility and pursue employment, signalling a possible shift in the family dynamic.
