Vivianne Speaks as Sam West Prepares for His Wedding

Vivianne Kenya has addressed the public for the first time regarding her ex-partner Sam West’s upcoming wedding, sharing her thoughts with clarity and calmness during an interview with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray on December 10, 2025. She expressed that she carries no resentment and fully accepts the new chapter unfolding in Sam’s life. She emphasized that life unfolds in phases, and each phase must be respected and released when its time ends. “We live in season; season fulani ikiisha, you cannot bring the dead back to life, lakini unaka unasema let us move forward kila mtu afanye kila kinamfurahisha.” Her words revealed a grounded outlook and a commitment to looking ahead rather than holding onto what once was.

Vivianne has since been living between the United States and Kenya after her breakup with Sam West. During her time abroad, she welcomed a baby boy and has intentionally kept her current romantic life low-profile. Sam also touched on the modern approach to marriage, emphasizing efficiency once families give their blessing. “Siku hizi hakuna kuwaste time wazazi wakisema ndio unangoja nini, ili usianguke kwa temptation harusi haitakangi u waste time,” he said. He added that moving forward after challenges is essential. “Kwa hii dunia ukianguka unafaa uamke, ata bibilia inasema ukianguka mara saba wewe amka tembea tena huwezi baki kwa mambo ya kale.”

Vivianne and Sam West began their relationship in 2016 and held their traditional wedding in March 2018. They broke up in 2022, and on April 16, 2023, Vivianne confirmed the end of their marriage. Their partnership was highly visible, as Sam also served as her music manager. Reflecting on the breakup in an earlier interview, Vivianne shared, “When it comes to relationships, especially nowadays, they are unpredictable. Some things stopped working in our relationship, and that is why it broke. I think there was a lot of pent-up anger.” She added, “There was a lot of betrayals.
