Mulamwah’s 2025 Controversies, Celebrity Clashes, and Public Fallout

2025 has unfolded as one of the most dramatic years for digital content creator and comedian David Oyando, widely known as Mulamwah. Known for his outspoken personality and strong online presence, Mulamwah has remained at the center of Kenya’s entertainment conversations, often for reasons beyond his comedy. From heated celebrity confrontations to deeply personal relationship disputes, his name has consistently trended across social media platforms, sometimes overshadowing new music releases and major industry moments.
Mulamwah’s controversies this year have not followed a single storyline. Instead, they have emerged across multiple fronts, creating a cycle of reactions, responses, and renewed public attention. His approach to addressing conflict publicly has kept fans engaged while also drawing criticism from fellow creators and observers who feel some matters should remain private.

Who did Mulamwah clash with in 2025?
Several of Mulamwah’s most talked-about moments in 2025 stemmed from his fallout with fellow digital creators and entertainers. During the year, he openly clashed with a number of prominent personalities, some of whom he later blocked on social media. Among those mentioned were Oga Obinna and Dem Wa Facebook. Mulamwah accused them of laughing and discussing a fan’s comment about his son during a previous Weekly show, an incident that clearly struck a nerve.
“Mwenye alikunia kwa barabara husahau, lakini mwenye alikanyaga hatawai sahau.Tofali ulikulia hapa,” Mulamwah explained.
The issue did not end there. Other public figures also disclosed that they had been blocked by the comedian. These included dancehall musician David Long’oji Ekiru, widely known as Dufla Diligon, digital content creators Nicholas Kioko, Wambo Ashley, and a Commentator. The growing list of blocked personalities painted a picture of widening rifts within Kenya’s online entertainment space.
Despite the backlash, Mulamwah did not retreat from the spotlight. Instead, the confrontations appeared to further amplify his visibility, keeping his name circulating across blogs, comment sections, and entertainment discussions throughout the year.
What fueled Mulamwah’s relationship drama?
Away from celebrity beefs, Mulamwah’s love life once again became a major topic of public debate following his separation from Ruth K. Their breakup quickly escalated into bitter online exchanges, with Ruth K accusing the comedian of repeated disrespect after the relationship ended.
“Sometimes silence is taken for granted. It’s been barely three months since the breakup, and I’ve faced disrespect in ways you wouldn’t even imagine in public and worse in private,” she lamented.
Ruth K further accused Mulamwah of reversing money he had sent her and expressed frustration over how the situation affected her emotionally.
“I’m trying to heal, gather myself emotionally, but it’s draining. You send Ksh5000 and reverse it, then have the nerve to screenshot a photo I put so much effort into? The audacity is loud. Enough is enough. I take my respect back. One day I will tell my story,” she declared.
Mulamwah responded by placing the blame for the breakup on Ruth K, claiming her friends influenced her decision to leave the relationship.
“It was a nice ride, young lady. Don’t cry wolf. You broke your own home with your two hands. I warned you of the so-called friends; now see… You never listened; you kept following their advice until they helped you move out of home to Ruaka because of their jealousy of your home, family, and achievements,” he stated.
He also accused her of disrespecting his parents and reflected on how their relationship deteriorated over time.
“I gave you some deals and a name online; you got money and became proud; you disrespected me and my parents as well. You are staying under my shelter, yet you are buying your household items. A day came; you found reasons for you to leave me and left,” he lamented.
At the height of the online exchanges, Mulamwah shared nude photos online, which many believed belonged to his ex-lover, a claim he firmly denied. Even with the controversies, Mulamwah’s digital influence has remained strong. His content continues to attract millions of views, and his brand partnerships have shown no visible signs of slowing down, reinforcing his ability to stay relevant despite ongoing scandals.
