Ruth K Shares Painful Eight-Day Ordeal as Baby Cries Nonstop

Digital creator Ruth K has opened up about an emotionally draining eight-day ordeal involving her son, Oyando Junior, who has been crying continuously despite multiple hospital visits in Nairobi. The experience, which she shared publicly on Instagram on Friday, January 2, 2026, has drawn widespread attention and concern from followers who relate to the vulnerability of parenting during moments of uncertainty.
Ruth revealed that her baby, whom she shares with comedian Mulamwah, has been in visible distress for more than a week. According to her account, the child has struggled to eat or sleep, leaving the household emotionally exhausted. She described this period as one of the most difficult seasons of her life, noting that the emotional strain stretched from the final days of 2025 into the start of the new year.
Despite seeking help from several well-equipped hospitals in Nairobi, Ruth explained that doctors have been unable to find any illness or medical condition that could explain the baby’s persistent crying. This lack of answers has left her feeling helpless and deeply worried as a parent.
“Lately alot has been happening my baby has been crying non stop, for almost 8 days. No eating, no sleeping, this has been the toughest season of life. My 2025 ended with sadness and 2026 began with ths same mood. This video is just a percentage of whats we have been going through has really broken my heart. We have visited the best hospitals in Nairobi for checkups, but unfortunately, no illness has been found,” Ruth K stated.

What Has the Family Experienced During the Hospital Visits?
Ruth shared that the medical visits were driven by hope and urgency, as the family searched for clarity and reassurance. Each hospital visit raised expectations that answers would be found, only for the results to come back inconclusive. She explained that while medical professionals conducted thorough checkups, none were able to identify the cause of the distress.
The video Ruth shared online, she clarified, captures only a fraction of what has been happening behind closed doors. The emotional toll of watching her child cry nonstop without understanding why has been overwhelming. She described the situation as heartbreaking, particularly because there has been no clear direction on what steps to take next.
Why Ruth K Chose to Share Her Story Publicly
Opening up online was not an easy decision for Ruth. She admitted that posting about such a personal struggle came from a place of fear and pain rather than a desire for attention. Her message reflected the raw emotions of a parent grappling with uncertainty and exhaustion.
“Am posting this here with a heavy heart😭😭just a heartbroken parent who can’t understand what is going on and what to do,” she lamented.
