Germany-Based Kenyan TikToker Chofri Opens Up About Losing His Home and Facing Deportation

Germany-based Kenyan TikTok comedian Geoffrey, popularly known as Chofri, has emotionally shared his struggles after allegedly being reported to authorities, leading to a potential deportation back to Kenya. The content creator, known for his light-hearted videos and relatable humor, revealed that he is currently homeless and moving from place to place while waiting for a court decision that could determine his fate.
During a recent livestream, Chofri broke down in tears, saying his life had taken a difficult turn after being blacklisted by German authorities. According to him, the situation was triggered by false accusations and personal conflicts with other Kenyans living abroad. “I am tired. Let them arrest me, and I find myself at JKIA. I am tired. The Kenyans who are here, already prosperous, could you at least pity me? I have stayed for seven years without seeing my family, and people here still want to stress me out. No one can help me,” he said.
Why Is Chofri Facing Deportation?
The TikToker alleged that he was added to a criminal list in Germany after being falsely accused of several offenses, resulting in him losing both his job and his residence. “When you are in trouble, people run away from you. I have so many cases, and it is people who have been writing emails and destroying my chances to get papers,” he explained.
Chofri said that even some of his close friends had turned against him. “I am at a friend’s place, and it is a Kenyan who did this to me. There are so many coming together to fight me,” he added. The comedian further claimed that jealousy and misunderstandings within the diaspora community had contributed to his troubles, noting that he was accused of helping Kenyans travel to Germany and later being sabotaged by those he tried to support.
He also lamented that those he trusted to help translate his court documents were spreading rumors about his case. Despite the challenges, Chofri said he is praying for divine intervention as he waits for his court appearance, which will determine whether he can stay in Germany or be deported to Kenya.
How Are Fans Reacting to Chofri’s Ordeal?
The emotional revelation sparked an outpouring of reactions from Kenyans online, with many expressing sympathy and frustration at the lack of unity among their fellow citizens abroad.
