Kenyan Prince Sparks Social Media Debate After Accidentally Flashing Gun on TikTok Live

Popular forex trader Kenyan Prince, whose real name is Raymond Omosa, has found himself at the center of controversy after unintentionally displaying a handgun during a TikTok live session. The incident has ignited widespread debate online, with questions emerging about his firearm ownership and the legality behind it.

Kenyan Prince, widely known for flaunting his wealth, humor, and public relationship drama, was livestreaming from his luxury Mercedes-Benz convertible on Sunday, November 9. During the session, he was casually speaking to fans about how to “flex” when purchasing liquor, instructing viewers to tell shop attendants, “Go and get me some cash that is in my car.”

As he opened the car’s center console to emphasize his point, a black handgun, appearing to be a 9mm pistol, flashed briefly on camera. Realizing his mistake, he immediately turned the camera away and uttered profanities, aware that his viewers had already seen the weapon. The short clip spread rapidly across social media platforms within hours.

What Happened After the Gun Incident on TikTok Live?

Following the viral video, netizens flooded social media with mixed reactions. Some expressed concern for his safety, while others questioned whether he possesses a valid firearm license. Many also revisited long-standing speculations about his sources of wealth and lifestyle.

Online user Darmon Kimberley commented, “A lot of people have guns and you will never see them display those guns… but maybe Kenyan Prince is trying to scare people threatening his life that he’s well protected… huyo kijana kila mahali ameonekana watu wanajazana hapo na ni pesa wanamwomba.”

Another user, Ernesto 001, added, “Nothing will happen to this boy… money is everything in Kenya. Ako na license?”

Some viewers called for police intervention, including Saigonpunisher James, who stated, “Kenyan Prince, I want you to visit any police station with your licence, and I am serious about it. We’re not jokers and we’re not toddlers, Hio bunduki kama huna licence… And who issued that license to this content creator?”

Others took a more personal tone, warning him about the risks of displaying weapons publicly. Millionare Langat wrote, “Life should be secret. Some things should be kept secret… you might attract the attention of thieves. Be careful with your life, bro.”

Why the Video Has Sparked Legal and Safety Concerns

The clip has reignited discussion about social media responsibility among Kenyan influencers and content creators. Many users view the incident as a reminder that oversharing online can carry serious consequences, especially when it involves weapons or sensitive material.

As of now, authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the incident. However, with increasing public concern about online behavior and firearm control, the episode may serve as a warning to public figures navigating the fine line between influence and accountability.
