Pastor Victor Kanyari is preparing to make one of his biggest life moves yet after revealing that he is set to acquire a Ksh90 million mansion in Runda, Nairobi. The Salvation Healing Ministries founder said the property will become a new home for him and his two children, Sky and Dany. He shared the update on Sunday, November 16, 2025, during a church service where he spoke openly about the decision and the motivation behind it.
Why Is Kanyari Choosing a Ksh90M Runda Home?
Kanyari said he toured several Runda properties with members of his church and immediately felt drawn to one particular mansion. He explained that the moment he saw it, he knew it was the house he wanted to buy. “Yesterday, I was in Runda looking for a house to buy. I went with some people from my church, and the house we looked at was valued at 90 million shillings. I told the people with me that this is the house we will buy,” he said.
The mansion includes a swimming pool, which he believes will offer his children a fun and relaxing space. He noted that some of the people accompanying him suggested a cheaper alternative priced at Ksh45 million, but he firmly chose the more expensive property because of the comfort and lifestyle it would provide his family. “It even has a swimming pool. Some of them suggested another house worth 45 million, but I told them no, we will buy this 90 million house. This is where my children will live and enjoy themselves, swimming and spending time there,” Kanyari added.

His focus, he said, is to ensure Sky and Dany grow up in a peaceful, enjoyable environment, especially during a time when family stability matters greatly.
Why Has Kanyari Remained Single for Over Seven Years?
During the same service, Kanyari also addressed long-standing questions about why he has never remarried after separating from gospel musician Betty Bayo more than seven years ago. The two shared a marriage that brought them Sky and Dany, and despite moving on from the relationship, he said he has never found another woman who embodies the qualities he appreciated in Betty.
“The reason why I have never remarried is that I have never found a woman like Betty Bayo again. The other women I meet are either crazy or lack the qualities I want in a life partner,” he said. He added that he has not met any woman in his church who is emotionally stable, intelligent, and capable of supporting both him and his family. According to him, he would rather remain single than bring someone into his home who could disrupt his peace or the wellbeing of his children.
“I have never met a woman in this church who is mentally stable and whom I would consider marrying. The women in this church are not of sound mind, and I know how to read character,” he added.
